Gastric Balloon
Gastric Balloon

Gastric balloon is a common endoscopic method in the treatment of metabolic syndrome and obesity. After endoscopic examination, a balloon is inserted into the stomach through the mouth. The procedure is terminated after the balloon is inflated with the camera and reaches sufficient volume. Particularly for nausea, we apply balloon application to patients after 3-4 days of medication treatment before the procedure. In this way, patients have lower rates of discomfort and nausea after the procedure. Depending on the characteristics of the inserted balloon, it is usually removed 6 months after the procedure, again under endoscopy.
