Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastroscopy (PEG)
Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)

Especially in neurological patients with swallowing problems and in oesophageal disorders, patients cannot be fed orally. For patients who cannot get enough food and cannot be fed orally, nutrition can be provided with a flexible tube opened from the stomach to the abdominal wall by endoscopy. This method is called Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy. Endoscopy is performed under sedation and after the operation, follow-up of the patient in the hospital is required for at least 1 day.
